Introducing Namukasa Christine!

We got our first look into the school lives of our partner teacher Namukasa in Uganda!
We already know so much about them that we can't wait to share with you!
We also learned that about half of the students own a pair of shoes.
Our class is very interested in helping the boys and girls to all have shoes.
If you have any ideas we are all open to suggestions! We will keep thinking how we might be able to help!

This picture is of Namukasa's class having porridge.
This is their snack during the day.
They dream of having sugar to sweeten their porridge!
As you can see many of the kids have gotten uniforms for school, but some children are still unable to do that. Namukasa said that the kids have to wait until their parents have made money from their crops to buy one.

  1. How exciting to have photos of your partner class from Uganda! I'm sure this is such an enriching opportunity for both groups of students to learn from each other! :-)
